**Resumen de Trabajo / Job Summary**:
NPI Transfer Sr. Engineer owns project transfers to East West Juarez (EWJ) from other East West business units. This role will wear many hats including Program Management responsibilities, Project Engineering, and technical support, quoting coordination, and operational planning from initial feasibility study through mass production ramp.

**Responsabilidades de trabajo / Essential Duties and Responsibility**:

- Responsible to coordinate Product Realization and Project/Program Management functions across targeted transfer programs.
- Establish project plans, charters, and targets; perform activity tracking and report to senior management on a regular cadence.
- Conducts evaluations and analysis to compare material outsource regional versus in-house and versus overseas sources.
- Experience with sourcing of engineered components. I.e., evaluation of supply technical capabilities; technical document review and issuance; and so forth.
- Liaise with external business unit teams to drive decision making and meet product roadmaps. Ensure efficient and productive communication between business units.
- Commercial coordination with local site PM teams, and corporate Account Managers.
- Supply Chain coordination with local and global supply chain teams to meet targeted pricing and ramp schedule execution.
- Assesses proper material, tooling, automation and equipment selection.
- Works with manufacturing to trouble-shoot problems, upgrades, retrofits, set-ups, methods development, and the development of process parameters.
- Improve NPI practices to meet corporate best practices.
- Support Operations and Engineering to drive Lean and continuous improvement both internally and externally.
- Be a driver of best business practices. Implement a group culture centered on continuous improvement.
- Additional roles as defined by management

**Caracteristicas preferentes** **/ Qualifications Preferred**:

- Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent in years of experience
- 5 + years’ experience in NPI
- Familiar with plastics - advantage
- Bilingual English - Spanish
- Domestic and international travel is required.

Outstanding Microsoft Office Software
