**Job Description**:
Chromalloy is looking for a Buyer to be a key member of the Global Sourcing & Procurement Team and an integral part of the Chromalloy organization.The Buyer has responsibility and accountability for assisting in the business process, cost management, initiating and executing strategic sourcing initiatives at a site level.
- Collaborate with operations to define material and service needs
- Negotiate and managing purchase orders to meet site demands and purchasing cost savings opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to internal procurement performance expectations
- Provide information and analysis for make/buy decisions
- Negotiate supplier agreements
- Support Site Planning to ensure RM inventory levers (Kanban, min/max, etc..) remain current and accurate
- Ensure supplier lead-time accuracy in demand system

**Qualifications**:
**Position requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree, or demonstrated experience, in business, supply chain or related field, preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/aeropspace environment
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work in a large matrix organization
Position is located in Mexicali, Baja California, México.
