Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus

Reporting to the Sr Quality Manager the Quality Manager role involves develop, implement, and coordinate product assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.

What a typical day looks like:

- Researches, evaluates and presents information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, economic trends and design and development of new products for consideration by other members of management team.
- Contributes with other top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures and goals.
- Evaluates contents of reports from product assurance program department heads and confers with top management personnel preparatory to formulating fiscal budget for product assurance program.
- Interface with customers on technical/quality issues and improvement initiatives.
- In charge of managing customer audits and regulatory/compliance agency audits.
- Visits and confers with representatives of material and component vendors to obtain information related to supply quality, capacity of vendor to meet orders and vendor quality standards.
- Confers with engineers about quality assurance of new products designed and manufactured products on market to rectify problems.
- Reviews technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in industry.
- Adherence to quality systems, QMS requirements and compliance.
- Implement cost of quality and maintain standards to zero defects, stop at every abnormality.
- Develop & execute quality tools, processes, products with influencing engineering & manufacturing plants quality teams to improve product quality and process repeatability
- Evaluates corrective and preventative action responses to audit findings for adequacy and timeliness and manages the closeout of all corrective and preventative actions.
- Applies 3D scanning and measurement SOPs to ensure validation of design intent.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Experience in a similar position in the Mechanicals industry
- Advanced experience of implementation of quality management systems, certified Quality Auditor preferred and quality audit experience in Mechanicals industry.
- Experience in the regulatory compliance environment
- Advanced English
- Strong experience in NPI
- Proficient understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
- Electromechanical Assembly (Backend) Qualification
- FAIR Analysis, CP/CPK, PFMEA, QCP,8D, 4Qs, BOM Validations, 2D Print Interpretation, SPC, SOP.
- Minitab
- Solidworks (desirable)
