Tasks
Collaborates with suppliers to assure the quality of their products, materials, components and/or operations. Monitors supplier performance and supports efforts to develop and implement changes to improve the production process.Follows up with suppliers on quality deviations and ensures that solutions are identified and implemented.
Introduces and maintains supplier quality assurance measures and activities to ensure the requested quality of the supplied electronics components, related parts and services; contributes to location and business quality targets and optimizes the efficiency of the purchasing, quality and logistic processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Functional responsibility for the defined parts, services, commodities, and suppliers during series production phase
- Plan, initiate, and control preventive orientated, advanced quality management measures in the series production phase for supplied parts and services to ensure that our products meet the defined quality requirements
- Facilitate Supplier PPAP Process including all relevant quality, process and capacity milestones and verifications
- Audit, monitor, verify and help to improve specific suppliers
- Subject matter expert for electronic components to support NBT
- Develop, establish, and monitor KPI for suppliers

**Qualifications**:
**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or other related field
- 2+ years of supplier quality and/or testing experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel within Mexico and internationally as needed
- High degree of motivation and integrity

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of Semiconductor manufacturing processes including wafer manufacturing, front-end assembly, and back-end test
- Experience with Automotive APQP, PPAP, Safe Launch Concepts, and Product Lifecycle Management
- IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 experience / knowledge
- Willingness to be IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 certified auditor
