Teams are continuously working to develop leading-edge technology that can not only add convenience to the daily lives of so many drivers across the country but our advancements in safety and security could also help save their lives. **Responsibilities**: - Coordinate automation activities within Software Engineering. Assess and manage risks. - Oversee the planning of manual testing activities. - Build and foster a team environment. - Arrange workshops and training for the team. Actively and consistently support all phases of the testing effort required to execute projects. - Define testing best practices, processes, and procedures. - Develop manual testing strategies and estimation models to plan test schedules based on project scope or delivery dates - Provide accurate documentation of issues to the project stakeholders and leadership team. - Actively participate in Program Team, Roadmap calls and other strategic sessions; ensuring the voice, recommendations and concerns of the automation team is professionally and purposefully represented. - Diagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend, and execute the best resolution. - Help drive continuous quality in the organization by helping instill best automation test practices. - Work with QA and functional/development teams to understand end-to-end system functionality - Identify any potential quality issues per the defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management - Assist with executing non-functional testing in terms of performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other systems **Skills**: Must have - General: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree either in CS, EE, or EC Engineering - Basic understanding of the Scrum methodology - Experience working with Configuration Management Systems "CMS" (preferably Jira, and Confluence) Testing: - Knowledge of testing concepts (functional/non-functional testing, unit testing, system testing, regression testing, defect lifecycle) - Experience creating, documenting, and executing unit/component/functional tests - Experience in Behavioral Driven Development "BDD" (e.g. Cucumber) Leadership: - Experience leading test teams (3+ years) - A proven history of technical and organizational leadership - Experience working with geographically distributed teams - Mentoring skills and competencies - Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders - Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment Nice to have - ISTQB Certification - Experience using Software Version Control experience (Git) - Experience developing Python scripts - Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts - Experience working with test automation frameworks (e.g. Robot, Appium, Espresso) **Languages**: English: C1 Advanced **Seniority**: Lead **Relocation package**: If needed, we can help you with relocation process.
