The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all production operations, ensuring that manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and meet quality standards. This role leads a team of supervisors and production staff, managing resources to meet output targets while continuously improving productivity and costeffectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Supervise and support production supervisors and operators to ensure high performance and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to address deviations.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and planning teams to resolve issues affecting production.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen) to optimize processes and reduce waste.
- Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluation of production personnel.
- Prepare and manage the production budget and report on variances.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
- Participate in audits and lead actions related to production performance and compliance.

Experiência y requisitos

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production planning systems (e.g., ERP/MRP).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred - USA Visa
