Job Summary The Production Manager is jointly responsible, along with Process Improvement personnel, for the on-time production of 100% first quality products. The Production Manager and Process Improvement personnel will work jointly as a team. The Production Manager is responsible for seeking product quality and production improvements as well as the efficient utilization of materials and supplies. Additional responsibilities include the maintenance of a well‑trained, motivated, and disciplined production associate team including job assignments, final approval of applicants, and maximum utilization of associates. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for production output, product quality and on‑time deliveries. Plans, organizes, directs, and supervises his production team to run optimum day‑to‑day operations. Determines material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements on a daily basis. Maintains communication with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production. Coordinates production activities with other functional groups such as planning and shipping. Evaluates machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime. Controls costs and maintains current quality standards. Ensures all safety and health standards are met. Requirements Industrial Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer We need to have a working Manager that can support directly with production start up. Low Volume / High Mix manufacturing experience is a requirement. Lean Manufacturing principles with workflow set up is required. English Advanced. 5 years of experience in this position. US Visa available.
