**Job Description Summary**: The Payment COE plays an important role in supporting the GE Vernova businesses, and the payment specialist will be assigned to a Global team and will have the opportunity to work with our main stakeholders.

The Payment specialist will be responsible for supporting all Disbursements activities for Americas region. The specialist will gain a valuable insight into the operation of GE Vernova businesses. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide an excellent start into a career in the Payment COE.

The responsibilities of this position include tasks such as the following:

- Promote good cross-functional relations and provide excellent service to all our stakeholders on any type of Payment request.
- Support data Quality improvement on our wing-to-wing processes.
- Identify and support LEAN projects to drive standard work and continuous improvement within our scope.
- Leverages process metrics to identify and correct transaction errors and/or control deficiencies.
- Understand the w2w payment process to ensure completeness and accuracy.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- 2 years of experience in support function, operations, or process improvement experience
- Strong process execution and customer service mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills, can-do-attitude / self-starter
- Fluent in English

**Desired Characteristics**
- Cash operations or related Treasury operational experience
- Experience in managing payment activities or bank related processes
- Demonstrated success in leading/delivering on projects
- Independent judgment with strong analytical skills and excellent organizational skills
- Commitment for process execution & improvement
- Excellent teamwork skills; collaborative approach with peers and team members
- Portuguese Basics
