MASS manufactures medical devices and military electronics for some of the largest companies in Silicon Valley. We are constantly improving our operations and looking for new ways to meet our Customer's needs through continuous improvement.
**Position Summary**:
The Accountant is responsible for overseeing all clerical activities related to the processing of invoices for payment, controlling payment of same and resolving issues with our suppliers.
**Overall Responsibilities**:
- Performs routine accounting duties
- Code/match invoices with PO’s
- Process invoices for payment
- File unpaid/paid invoices
- Answer vendor calls
- Month-end closing activities, including verifying input and distributing financial information.
- Analyzes and processes transactions in all accounting areas
- Maintains documentation for compliance to policies and procedures for internal audits.
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**:
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, and meet all deadlines and goals outlined.
- Proficient computer knowledge and skills (Microsoft Office).
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Epicor experience preferred.
**Education & Training/Experience**:
- Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
- 4-6 years of accounts payable experience
Ability to commute/relocate:
- El Salto, Jal.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
