ERP Configurator Analyst

We are hiring an **ERP Configurator Analyst - Manufacturing**to support the modeling and validation of Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOMs) in support of Steelcase’s move to a new ERP system, SAP S4.

**This is a 12**-month** limited contract with the potential for**full-time** employment after**12 months.**

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Analyzing multi-level bills of material structures
- Reviewing, writing and debugging object dependency syntax
- Validation of migrated data models compared to existing ERP source system
- Participating in team stand-ups to ensure work prioritization and issue resolution

**Who You Are**:

- You understand Product structure (bills of materials, assembly lists, breakdown of product in manufacturing, routings)
- You can understand and develop product structure rules
- You possess the ability to analyze and compare large datasets, identify patterns/outliers, and provide actionable suggestions
- Team player, inquisitive with a strong attention to detail

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in analytical engineering or Manufacturing or IT-related field
- Advanced English proficiency is required for the position.
- Exposure and understanding super BOMs and super routing is a must
- Experience working with the SAP business ERP software, ideally within the Product Master and Variant Configuration.

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Exposure to Variant configuration (VC) and AVC (Advanced Variant Configuration) is a plus but not a must have
- Understanding manufacturing processes is highly desired
- Self-starter, able to problem-solve on own without major guidance (Provide ideas, not problems)
- Ability to collaborate with IT colleagues, engineers, and other multidisciplinary teams from different Steelcase facilities across the globe.
- Attention to detail, fast learner, team player with excellent communication skills is a must
