Overview:
Supplier Quality Engineer provides Supplier Quality Engineering services for production, engineering and PDD. Ensures that parts for new products meet quality standards. evaluate the overall performance of suppliers. Report quality problems to the supplier. Acts as a liaison betwwen supplier, purchasing, production plants and product development teams. Attends receiving inspection with raw material quelity issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensures that the raw material received meets the specifications by creating or modifying inspection instructions.
- Coordinate the process of non-conforming material and dispose of the material.
- Coordinate the draws together with the SQT.
- Follow up on SCARs.
- Audit supplier processes.
- Leads suppliers to improve corrective actions and part quality by developing and using quality tools such as process.
- Acts as a technical liaison between manufacturing plants, purchasing development teams, and / or products and suppliers dealing with nonconforming products, including resolution of Nonconforming Material Reports (NMRs) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) as appropriate.
- Ensures that supplier quality functions are properly documented to ensure uniformity across divisions and plants, escalating insufficient or inadequate documentation to the manager, supplier quality.
- Supervises and supports IQC's activities by collaborating with plant management.
- Manage the performance and development of less experienced engineers and technicians. Ensures that staff prioritize work tasks effectively.
- Other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

- University Degree completed: Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or Quality Engineering.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in the field.
- English 85%
- Availability to travel.
- 8D, Cause & Effect Diagrams, FMEA, SPC, DOE and GR&R Knowledge.
- GD&T and IPC Criteria Experience (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, receiving little instruction on daily work, but receiving general instructions on newly presented tasks.
- Able to collaborate with other departments.
- Schedule availability.
