**Job Description**:
Quality Assurance Engineer (T1): Additional qualifications (Local Job Specific Requirements section):
Major Duties & Responsibilities (additional) include but are not limited to the following:

- Acts according to the Advance Product Quality Plan (APQP) process in accordance with ISO/TS 16949 and AS9100.
- Creation of First Article Inspection Reports and associated documentation to give evidence that all Quality Control processes comply with AS9100, Customer and Regulatory requirements.
- Supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of Aearo Technologies de Baja’s Quality Management Systems.
- Assists with external (customer/registrar) and internal audits of the Quality Management Systems, to ensure continued suitability and compliance to Regulatory, ISO-9001, ISO/TS 16949, & AS9100, customer, and organizational requirements.
- Initiates and follow-up of CIR and/or CCAR from customers into our internal database and coordinates any meeting and/or investigation to properly close any open actions.
- When required, creation and implementation of Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, Failure Mode & Effects Analyses, Measurement System Analyses, Production Part Approval Process, Non Conformance Notices process, etc.
- Follow-up of Key Performance Indicators assuring for Quality Assurance area that goals are met and if necessary that any actions are taken placed when goals are not being met.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline or applicable experience.
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable experience as akin of Industrial Engineer or similar career.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 (ISO/TS 16949) manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated effective cross-functional team work (with vertical and horizontal reporting structures) among internal businesses.
- Prioritize and execute, problem solver, reacts to sense of urgency.
- Strong skill in Engineering Drawing interpretation, Customer specs and Dimensioning and Tolerances knowledge.
- Strong skills with filling of reports and key performance indicators.
- Medium of Written and spoken English skills.
