**Essential Job Functions**:

- The partner must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation:_
- Perform independently to resolve general partner issues related to payroll, benefits leaves, talent management, talent acquisition, learning, etc. and strive to deliver first-contact resolution.
- Maintain strong data integrity across all work, specifically administrative processes impacting HR systems.
- Process and audit multiple HR administrative processes across all areas of HR according to Petco’s standard operating procedures.
- Review and audit job and HR-related data changes and make corrections to information as needed, keeping supervisor informed of reoccurring errors, keep abreast of trends and issues by determining root cause and communicate best practices by recommending possible solutions for workflow and process improvement.
- Resolve issues by utilizing HR Service Center standard operating procedures, company policies & procedures, knowledge management system and other reference materials.
- Build and maintain effective business relationships with all departments.
- Responsible for meeting and or exceeding established key performance indicator metrics as defined by management.
- Perform, review and distribute reports and audits related to HR, quality assurance and data integrity of HCM and time and attendance systems.
- Independently prioritize and accomplish high volume of tasks within established timeframes while maintain quality work and attention to detail.
- Partner with leaders across the organization and employee relations on sensitive issues as required by federal regulations and company policies and procedures.

**Education/Experience**:

- High School Diploma or its equivalent (GED) required or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Benefits in a multi-state environment.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of an HRIS necessary.
