We are seeking a **Senior Data Engineer** to spearhead our data engineering efforts within the Cloud Engineering team.

This role involves close collaboration with data scientists and product teams to process and refine data that power our cutting-edge cloud products. By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the data architecture that underpins Infoblox's SaaS offerings, providing next-level networking solutions for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Curate large-scale data from various sources for research and development
- Design and test storage solutions, including data warehouses like ClickHouse and OpenSearch
- Implement monitoring mechanisms for data source changes using summarization and statistical methods
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient APIs for data integration and retrieval
- Utilize computer science algorithms to distill insights from large data sets
- Convert data engineering prototypes into production-ready solutions through disciplined software practices
- Build and oversee automation tools, deployment processes, and operational monitoring systems
- Craft and execute detailed test plans and cases using automated testing tools

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science or relevant field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Python3, with 2+ years in Spark; Scala knowledge beneficial
- Background in data engineering or related fields utilizing large-scale data environments
- Proficiency with SQL and experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Skills in developing ETL pipelines and data manipulation scripts
- Experience with ClickHouse data warehouse
- Expertise in API design and development, preferably RESTful, in a distributed environment
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and S.O.L.I.D principles
- Emphasis on unit testing and maintaining high code quality
- Familiarity with AWS products including EMR, S3, VPC, EC2, and Athena
