**Regional Process Quality Engineer**

**Position objective**:
Development, configuration and optimization of industrial processes, from conception to commissioning and certification. Implements and maintains organization of the Quality System through defined policies, procedures and rules to meet quality standards.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics & Electromechanical Engineer
- Experience in the Automotive Industry - Cable maker (essential)
- Extensive knowledge in the cable industry (required)
- Knowledge of VDA & IATF 16949 standard
- Experience in the area of Quality
- Certification as an auditor
- Certified in 6 sigma (Green or Black Belt) desirable.
- Knowledge of core tools
- Availability to travel
- Availability of mixed schedules (occasionally)
- Availability to reside in Cd. Juarez
- Fluent English

**Main responsibilities**:

- Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.
- Optimizes productivity implementing and testing new procedures.
- Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
- Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.
- Communicates findings and proposals to upper management.
- Find the most appropriate production strategies.
- Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
- Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Validate test report in line with defined policies and procedures. Define the corrective actions to be performed if needed.
- Coordinates with Maintenance and/or device suppliers the repair of equipment in case of measurement device fails and breakdowns.
- Plans, verifies and calibrates measurement devices according to the annual planning.
- Monitors process deployment progress and provides necessary support
- Supplier relationship management
- Complies with the Quality and EHS Systems requirements.
