Visión general:
Purchase materials, equipment, supplies and services of a specialized or complex nature in accordance with prescribed purchasing regulations and procedures.

Build relationships with key vendors with an emphasis on growth and exit strategies.

Reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions, investigates and develops sources of supplies, prepares bid specifications, issues bid requests and reviews quotations.

Examines and analyzes departmental purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information; determines method to process requisition based on indirect procurement process.

Identifies and selects vendor to procure requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality and delivery date and places orders.

Resolves purchasing problems between department and vendor. 
- Interprets purchasing procedures to departments and vendors. 
- This position requires the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- The position reports directly to the Indirect Procurement Coordinator.
- The role requires achieving some goals in satisfaction clients and fulfillment areas.

**Responsabilidades**:
The Indirect Buyer position is a key role within our strategic plan for the American Standard Supply Chain. An enthusiastic self-starter with strong drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the Global Supply Chain.

Requisitios:
Knowledge of procurement process and materials, products, and services of the Faucets and Tubs manufacture industry (Preferable)

Skill in both verbal and written communication.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to work both under direction and on own initiative.

Results oriented, innovative, and adaptable team player.

Self-starter with excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to provide quick responses to changes in customer needs.

Able to build and maintain strong supplier and internal customer relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in administrative areas or engineering from an accredited university or college.
- SAP/ARIBA knowledge (Preferable)
- At least 3 years’ experience in Sourcing and Procurement.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
- English 90%
