**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Position Summary**:
Provides entry level support of costing department. Creates monthly reports and verifies accuracy under supervision of cost accounting manager. Analyzes data and provides explanations to stakeholders. Participates in the development of budget figures and applies to standard cost figures. Works with other members of finance and the business in a collaborative manner to resolve ad hoc issues and meet month end deadlines.

**Essential Functions**:

- Track and maintain Part Structures/Costs
- Participate in annual physical inventories at plant locations
- Perform inventory/ cost of sales account reconciliations
- Support monthly cost run analysis
- Ad hoc cost and inventory reporting

**Knowledge**:

- Understanding of cost accounting principles as established by IFRS
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems a plus
- Some knowledge of plant manufacturing operations is a plus

**Experience**:

- 3 years of experience in cost accounting or a related financial discipline
- ERP experience preferred, (SAP a plus)

**Skills**:

- Strong Microsoft Office skills (specifically Excel)
- Able to communicate effectively (oral and written)
- Able to prioritize tasks with the help of management
- Ability to analyze and problem solve in controlled environment

**Education**:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field required
- Accounting preferred
