**Description**: - **100% Remote position**: - **Must have prior exprience in insurance verification in the US.**: - **Full-time and Part-time positions are available**: - **Pay is based on experience**: - Responsible for verifying insurance, benefits, and patient responsibility for all patients referred to PAD Specialists. - Obtain necessary referrals/authorizations for services to ensure a clean billing process. - Responsible for accurately documenting the benefits within the EMR/EHR system. - Work closely with insurance companies, referring physician offices, billing, and other departments. - Work on appeals for claim denials and/or authorization denials along with physicians and insurance companies. The IV must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and have good communication skills. **Requirements**: - **MUST reside in the central time zone or a similar time zone to be considered for this position.**: - Insurance verification experience within the last two years is required - A+ customer service-oriented attitude and charisma - Tech savviness - Drug screens and background check - Maturity, good judgment, and a proactive mind, anticipate and preempt problems (rather than simply react to them) - Spirit of continuous improvement -- strive to grow, improve, and learn... both professionally and personally, every single day, and to help the Company do the same - All employees are expected to perform as an integral part of the PADS team, and to provide supplemental support as requested, required, or assigned. - Bachelor’s > Associate's > Current college -- are a plus but not required **Benefits**: - Initial 60-day Compatibility Period (CP) of no benefits.
