**Position Overview**:- We are a leading U.S.based healthcare organization seeking qualified Medical Doctors in Mexico to join our team as Insurance Verifiers. This role involves utilizing your medical expertise to ensure accurate and efficient verification of insurance information, contributing to seamless patient care and billing processes.- **100% Remote position**:- **Pay is based on experience and education.****Key Responsibilities**:- Gather and confirm co-pay amounts for patient visits.- Check and validate ICD-10 codes to ensure accurate billing and compliance.- Obtain prior authorizations for procedures, tests, and referrals as required.- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve discrepancies.- Interpret medical records and documentation to support insurance verification.- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.- Maintain accurate records of all insurance verifications and approvals.- Provide support to medical staff with insurance-related inquiries and issues.- Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance policies and coding requirements.**Requirements**:- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of insurance processes.- **Excellent English** communication skills- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.- **Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in insurance verification in the US.**:- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and prior authorization processes.- Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion.- **18-month minimum commitment required**:- **MUST reside in the central time zone or a similar time zone to be considered for this position.**:- A+ customer service-oriented attitude and charisma- Tech savviness- Drug screens and background check**About PAD Specialists**:We are a rapidly growing chain of outpatient medical offices specializing in diagnosing and treating Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
