Let’s take a closer look at the role The Supply Chain Coordinator is directly responsible for the day-to-day freight management for all accounts within the TA Services group and for supporting the day Supply Chain Leader's performance on customer scorecards. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will need to know operational details about all of our target growth accounts to help move them in the right direction along with any other corporate initiatives, as well as the roles for tracking shipments and sourcing carriers. **Qualifications** - At least 1 year of experience in transportation management and development of logistics solutions, preferably with experience in a supervisory role - Degree from a 4-year accredited college/university or equivalent work/education combination - Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Must have experience using and a thorough understanding of asset-based or 3PL Transportation Management System (TMS) **Additional Information** **Responsibilities**: - Utilize tools including TMS, rating system, optimization, and others as needed to design logistics solutions - Participate in a new account startup to ensure customer and internal requirements are achieved and convey necessary information to the rest of the team - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly customer reports as defined by customer requirements - Prepare "spot" quotes as requested by customers and securing expedited transportation as needed - Follow all company guidelines and procedures set forth in your employee handbook. You are required to understand 100% of their content - Other duties as required provided All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
