We collaborate with a tech startup that helps top YouTube creators globalize their content in different languages.
**Summary of Role**
The Channel Manager of this Country’s channel will execute the publishing strategy and oversee the day-to-day operations of the YouTube Channel and associated platforms. You are expected to become an expert on YouTube/social video best practices and YouTube digital content.
Additionally, you will join the YouTube Content Strategy and Development team, supporting optimization and audience growth efforts across all channels. You will help develop and execute a strategy to grow the channel based on KPIs.
- Responsibilities:_
- Manage the upload/publishing of content to the YouTube channel and general day-to-day operations
- Work with analytics and audience development teams to optimize the channel’s titles, tags, descriptions, cards, playlists, thumbnails, and other content/features.
- Strategize, own and implement cross-collaboration campaigns between YouTube content creators
- Support short-form content strategy development by providing regular YouTube analytics insights
- Assist with fan engagement, community tab management, comment moderation, and Livestream activities
- Leverage TubeBuddy, VidIQ, ListenFirst, Crisp, and other platforms to share additional insights with relevant partners
- Attend weekly brainstorms and scheduled meetings
- Support monetization efforts across the channel
- Update team on progress/status/issues/troubleshooting every week
- Maintain high spelling and grammar standards across the channel
- Collaborate on off-YouTube content distribution projects as they arise
- Maintain video publishing calendar and ensure timely delivery of all required assets and metadata
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, post-production, content strategy, and paid media
- Analyze market/competitor trends, and provide summaries of findings to the team
- Manage execution of client requests
- Required Skills:_
- Experience with social media analytics -TubeBuddy, VidIQ, ListenFirst, Crisp, and other platforms to share additional insights with relevant partners
- Great communication skills
- + 2 year of experience in YouTube channel management
- A keen eye for detail and sharp organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to engage and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivation, strong work ethic, the ability to multi-task, Passion for YouTube content, and good working knowledge of the platform
- YouTube certification in Audience Growth and/or Digital Rights Perks
