- The Tax Specialist reports directly to MX-COE-Tax Team Lead and will play an important role supporting Mexican Taxes Team per a period of time in ensuring day to day tax operations of the MAHLE’s Mexican companies.- Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Tax Team in different tasks related to:
- Prepare and file of monthly tax payments (Income Tax, VAT, withholding taxes).
- Prepare and file of annual tax returns.
- Prepare and file Informative returns.
- Monthly (DIOT, INEGI, Anti laundry law).
- Quarterly (Relevant operations, Minister of Economy reports).
- Annual (INEGI, Minister of Economy reports, DIM).
- Respond to government tax, internal or external audit inquiries.
- Maintain records for tax audit.
- Extract data from accounting system.
- Prepare and file monthly electronic accounting.
- Provide support to comply with duties, fines, state taxes etc.
- Provide tax and accounting guidelines to the Mexican plants.
- Other related duties as they are assigned.
- Your Skills & Strengths:
- Bachelor’s Degree on Accounting.
- Business fluent in English is preferred.
- 1+ years tax and/or accounting experience.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented.
- Problem-solving and learning abilities.
- High analysis capability..
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is preferred.
