Medical Device Injection Molding Engineer

Perform mold trials on new and existing molds; Develop process parameters using a scientific approach to optimize the molding process. Also, train and guide Process Technician to complete these types of tasks as well
- Manage and drive improvement of OEE on molding equipment
- Setup, troubleshooting, and development of all ancillary molding equipment, including programming (robots, vision systems, etc.)
- Advanced programming of robotics, PLCs, motion controllers, etc. in support of the automation of existing processes.
- Fabricate and design fixtures for automation of handling small parts.
- Understanding of DOE and OQ/PQ validation process for injection molding
- Collect and analyze technical process/product data and consolidate it for logical presentations to team and management for evaluation.

**Experience**:

- injection molding: 4 years (required)
- high-volume medical device manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
