**Company Overview**:
A precision manufacturing company located in Tecate is seeking an experienced **Engineering Supervisor** to join its team. The company specializes in advanced laser cutting, metal fabrication, and value-added engineering services, delivering high-quality solutions to a diverse range of industries.

**Position Summary**:
The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for leading the engineering team and overseeing technical operations within a metal-focused manufacturing environment. This role requires approximately 10 years of engineering experience, including proven leadership or supervisory responsibilities. Design experience is considered a strong asset.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of engineers and technicians to ensure efficient project execution.
- Manage engineering projects from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with production goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including production, quality, and maintenance to resolve technical challenges.
- Review and approve engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Support design and development efforts for new or customized products.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and internal procedures.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, including supervisory or team leadership roles.
- Strong background in metals and metalworking processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Preferred**:

- Hands-on design experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
