**What to Expect**
**What You'll Do**
- Drive issue resolution from root cause analysis to countermeasure implementation on electromechanical components for Tesla's charging products
- Investigate system assemblies, modules, and components to identify the root cause of failure in Tesla's vehicle products
- Design and conduct fault replication tests and experiments on power converters and low voltage PCBA's, including board rework and FW/HW testing
- Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to drive resolution to identified failure causes
- Provide inputs to design and manufacturing teams to improve design and production yield
- Support design reviews and DFMEA based on prior failure experience
**What You'll Bring**
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Electrical/electronic design experience is a strong plus
- Strong demonstrable hands-on experience with electrical test equipment, including power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other common equipment
- Extremely proficient at reading schematics and troubleshooting analog and digital circuits
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn different failure analysis techniques, including 2D and 3D X-ray, cross-sectioning, FTIR, DSC, SEM
