The Manager, International Logistics will be responsible for the execution of international logistics and barge operations for Mexico, including import and export activities. The goal is to develop logistics strategies to continuously improve all aspects of transportation services with an emphasis on minimizing costs and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a leader, leverage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, distribution 3pl’s, custom brokers, plants, customer service, S&OP, quality, and sales for Mexico and affiliate regions.

Key Deliverables
- Improve international logistics on-time delivery performance of Mexico as part of North America OTIF.
- Manage and reduce costs through, RFP’s, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive process excellence, support the convergence of logistics and S&OP, driving improvements in visibility, performance measures, and end-to-end processes order to delivery process.
- Ensure regulatory trade compliance in ocean and barge logistics through the administration of proper operational, reporting and record keeping procedures and processes. Operate to recognized safe practice standards.
- Partnering with procurement, develop and implement long term negotiating strategies with ocean and barge service providers to ensure that Ingredion has a service and cost competitive advantage while gaining support from the business functions.
- Leverage carrier relationships such that services procured are providing demonstrably favorable cost/benefit relationships.
- Leverage technology, for reliability, and efficiency to improve value steam and transactional process.
- As a leader and change agent, champion cross-regional and cross-functional cooperation to influence behaviors and decisions in a manner that promotes improvement in enterprise safety, reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure regular communications between team, regional and functional groups are maintained such that projects move forward on a timely.
- Lead a regional logistics team to support the North America supply chain strategy. Provide functional expertise, performance management, and career development for employees.
- 3 International warehouses management, suppling product from US and Central America.
- Develop and recommend written SOPs for regions to provide to Broker as defined in the TCMS. Implementation and maintain One Source Trade Automation for Mexico
- Align with Tax and Legal area for international trade legal recruitments.
