Conveyor Specialist- General Assembly

The Vehicle Process Engineering General Assembly Conveyors and Facilities Specialist will lead conveyor projects in design and installation of conveyors / facilities and equipment for new model launches in North America and Canada. The role of this Specialist will drive continuous improvement to standards, conveyor designs and facility installations while meeting the cost and timing requirements of the program.
**Basic Qualifications**:
Bachelor's Degree 3 years of experience with conveyor design and maintenance
Demonstrated project management experience
Strong computer skills - particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, Autodesk, Teamcenter
Excellent communication skills - both orally and in writing
Outstanding problem solving/analytical skills required
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Advanced Degree Familiarity with 3D Carrier Design
Familiarity with Power and Free, EMS, FDS, and Skillet Conveyors Automotive experience with launching new models
Experience working with plant skilled trades, and installation skilled trades working under the NMA
Experience working with Bargaining Unit Employees
