Financial Strategy and Planning:

- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's vision, goals, and long-term plans.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process to ensure accurate financial projections.
- Analyze financial performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Implement financial models and metrics to evaluate business performance and support data-driven decision-making.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders and external investors.
- Manage tax compliance, audits, and financial risk assessments for both the US and Mexican entities.

Financial Operations and Controls:

- Monitor and manage financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management.
- Implement financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Continuously assess and enhance financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and execute cash management strategies to optimize working capital and liquidity.

International Finance and Taxation:

- Manage financial operations for the subsidiary in Mexico, including compliance with local tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with legal and accounting teams to ensure adherence to international financial regulations and taxation laws.
- Facilitate financial consolidation between the US and Mexican entities, reconciling intercompany transactions.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, enabling their growth and maximizing their potential.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluent professional communication in English. Spanish is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA qualification preferred.
- Service-oriented mindset.
- Proven experience as a Director in Finance in a fast-paced tech startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of US and international finance regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing financial operations in both the US and Mexico or other international markets.
- Demonstrated success in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial growth and enhancing profitability.
- Experience in managing financial operations across borders or subsidiaries is a plus.
