**The Role**
As the FP&A Specialist, you will be driving a stronger focus on Commercial Operations, supporting North American Regional Operational Excellence, influencing, and advising management on sound financial decisions. You will be a key contributor of the North American Leadership team, and serve as an important contributor to short-term initiatives, as well as the long-term strategic direction of Commercial operations by using sound financial assessments and analysis to influence decisions. This role is an integral part of the team and will provide sales and trends analysis and transparency on the progress on the company’s annual operating plans and investments.
**What you will do**:
- Be part of the Americas FP&A team, driving towards the organizational targets achievement. Play a key role in working and validating business cases for future growth, drive alignment among local and global stakeholders to accomplish them
- Manage customer portfolio to drive value for the company. Influence discount practice and review meaningful orders to drive it. Overview credit and cash trends for the business in scope.
- Support and actively participate in driving productivity efforts in OPEX, including providing reports and financial analysis for specific business case completion.
- Drive system stewardship in sales commission process (target setting, tracking & proofing) as well as acting as super-user for the system in scope.
- Be an active part of the global finance team to drive selected global projects.
**What you need to have**:
- 5-8 years’ experience in FP&A roles in fast paced industrial companies with proven experience in budgeting, sales and trends analysis, and expense management.
- Industrial and Distribution type company experience is a plus.
- Track record of valuable experience in financial business partnering (5+ years).
- Good knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proven experience in successfully working across matrix organization.
- Proven financial analysis experience, including presentation to senior management.
- Experience in SAP (BW/SD/COPA/CS) and Power BI - experience in OneStream a plus. Any other ERP and reporting tool a plus.
- Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
