Danfoss is The Quality Customer Engineer is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing quality concerns, managing customer complaints, and supporting product quality throughout the manufacturing and delivery process. This role acts as the main point of contact between the company and its customers regarding quality-related matters, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Serve as the primary quality liaison between the customer and internal teams.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of customer complaints (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, etc.).
- Monitor customer portals and respond to quality alerts and scorecards.
- Support PPAP submissions, customer audits, and product launch quality planning (APQP).
- Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
- Track and report customer quality metrics (e.g., PPM, delivery ratings).
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce customer claims.
- Coordinate containment and rework activities when needed.
- Maintain clear documentation of all customer-related quality issues and actions.

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a technical discipline is required.
- Preferred experience in following quality tools: PPAP, MSA, calibration, Control Plans, PFMEA, and detailed manufacturing work instructions.
- Previous quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required with preferred experience with IATF 16949:2016.
- Required experience in using problem solving skills such as 8D’s, 5 why’s, fishbone diagrams
- Proficient at Microsoft Excel and a statistical analysis program (Minitab).
