**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Position Summary:
Senior Quality Engineer responsible for supporting on site at OEM Customer locations in Monterey Mexico. (Navistar and Freightliner).

Essential Functions:

- Promotes and maintains strong customer relationships
- Lead Interface with customers & BCVS plants to define customer quality requirements and monitor performance.
- Become Expert at all Bendix products through training.
- Lead and coordinate Containment Activities at OEM Plant for Quality Spills as required.
- Quality Support to local Bendix’s customers in Monterrey/Saltillo (Daimler, ConMet, Milimex, Sisamex).
- Lead 3rd Party during containment activities at OEM Plant for Quality Spills as required
- Assist with problem solving and corrective action updates with Bendix Manufacturing Plants and CoC Product Engineering.
- Track 8Ds completion
- Travel requirements vary based on projects and issue resolution:

- Bendix manufacturing locations (Hanover, Acuna, KY, Indiana)

- Analytical & Quantitative
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Maintain strong Customer relationships
- Able to work remotely at customer location. Maintain Desk/Office
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, self-reliant
- Multi-task oriented, ability to balance multiple assignments
- Flexible - can adapt to frequent priority changes & substantial role diversity
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with Bendix Plants as well as with OEM customers

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in the truck, automotive or aerospace industries in the areas of Quality and Engineering

**Education**:
B.A. or B.S. degree in Engineering, preferred
