OVERVIEW: This individual will be responsible for developing, supporting qualifying and improving assembly processes for electronic products to optimize efficiencies, quality, and cost. Will work with external suppliers all internal departments to install and qualify assembly processes for circuit board assembly, subassembly, Final Assembly and test in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Coordinate startup of circuit board assembly operations - Participate in qualification of new products as well as coordinating product and process improvement. - Develop, install, and qualify factory automation. - Ensure product and process qualifications meet schedule and quality requirements. - Ensure that all safety regulations, including regulatory controls, are carefully followed as they pertain to the production area.

Experiência y requisitos

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline - At least 5 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment - Capable of future career advancement - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Good interpersonal skills: ability to lead or be part of a team. - Must have a thorough understanding of electronic assembly and technologies. - Experience with lean manufacturing tools - Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Management experience in Manufacturing Engineering - New Product Introduction (NPI) experience - MBA or advanced engineering degree
