Business Systems Analyst

**Education **:Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science or related areas

**Experience**:

- Facilitating workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather business requirements
- Collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Opentext Content Server, and Workflow solutions
- Facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and demonstrated success at building teams and relationships with key people in local and remote sites.
- Experience in Oracle ERP or Kinaxis Rapid Response is a plus
- Experience in the Manufacturing Industry is a plus

**Knowledge**:

- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in project management, including management of scope, time and schedule, with balance of quality and risk management
- Understand the Systems Design and assess the impact on key operational metrics.

**Skills**:

- Analyzing, reengineering and documenting business processes, and recommending solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a solution oriented mindset.
- Strong English communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the business

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the IT Director, Digital Workplace to deliver industry best practices solutions that align to the IT strategy
- This role requires working closely with the business to understand business processes, challenges and review alternative solutions
- This involves gathering, prioritizing and validating of business requirements through interviews, workshops, working sessions, and review other information and documents
- The incumbent will also need to compile formal business requirement documents for projects/enhancements, map and design new business processes, re-engineer existing business processes and define key, operational process metrics.
- Project management duties include:

- Managing scope, planning and organizein project activities.
- Act as a liaison between the business and technology teams to ensure business project needs are adequately met with technology solutions.
- Develop business project plans/schedules while balancing business needs and expectations.
- Define project roles and obtain key business personnel to support project roles.
- Prioritize and delegate key project tasks to team members.
- Identify and manage project risks throughout the life of the project.
- Communicate with the stakeholders to seek consistent feedback and ensure quality of product and service on a regular basis
