About the Role
We are looking for a Design Engineer - Semi Sensors to design, develop, and optimize temperature sensors that meet international standards for quality, safety, and performance. This role includes providing technical support to manufacturing plants in Mexico and the U.S., ensuring successful design implementation.
**Who are we looking for**:
**What you´ll do**:

- Design new temperature sensor products in compliance with client requirements and international standards.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation (drawings, specifications, BOMs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the implementation of new designs or improvements.
- Provide technical support to production lines in Mexico and the U.S.
- Participate in failure analysis and propose solutions.
- Coordinate validation testing and thermal performance analysis.

What´s required to succeed in the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Industrial Design, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in sensor or electronic device design.
- Knowledge of temperature measurement principles (RTDs, thermocouples, thermistors, etc.)
- Proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- (preferred) Familiarity with industrial standards (ASTM, IEC, ISO) related to temperature sensors.
- Advanced English (written and verbal technical communication with international teams).
- Experience in product validation, lab testing, and technical documentation.
- Understanding of manufacturing, materials, and thermal processes is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with DFMEA.
