You'll also play a key role in developing standards that uphold our commitment to food safety, ensuring compliance with Kellanova’s global guidelines as well as local and international regulations. This position is based in Toluca.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
**Detail Oriented**: Support the execution of annual pathogen validations and environmental monitoring, providing essential information for the implementation and follow-up of Food Safety project guidelines.
**Development and Compliance**: Ensure compliance with prerequisite programs and training to uphold food safety standards, including HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices, cleaning procedures, allergen control, foreign material handling, and product protection.
**Organizational and Responsible**: Actively participate in initiatives for injury and disease prevention as well as environmental sustainability, modeling safe behavior in alignment with Kellanova’s values and commitment to prevent all injuries.
**Strategic Mindset**: Oversee the follow-up and compliance of the metal detector calibration and verification program to maintain safety and quality standards.
We’re Looking for Someone With
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Food Engineer or Microbiologist.
At least 1 year of experience in the food industry.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Presentation and computer skills such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
**Languages**: English 50% written, spoken and read.
