Experienced position in Claim Department support, with responsibility in supporting the various functions of Claims support including but not
limited to coding and processing payments, recoveries, transcriptions, escheats and IRS data entry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performs bulk payment entry
- Handles processing voids
- Performs salvage and subrogation recoveries
- Processes claims related to escheats
- Reviews transcriptions
- Performs IRS data entry (W9 and 1099s)
- Performs MCCA (Michigan Catastrophic medical system) reporting for PIP
- Handles CLUE corrections and disputes
- Provides Financial Claim Affidavits for Finance

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Training gained through on the job experience, vocational training and/or job-related college courses

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- None

**Functional Skills**
- Claims knowledge
- Ability to successfully work in a high volume, fast paced, changing environment
- Data entry in EPIC
- Moderate Excel skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work with other departments
- Ability to navigate Copart (salvage) website
- Ability to navigate Accounting suite - lockbox
