**About Polymat & Q-Logistics**: Tricon recently acquired Polymat and Q-Logistics, a Mexico-based logistics service provider and distribution leader of polymers, engineering plastics, and additives. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Tricon's commitment to the Mexican market and enables the company to better serve customers across the Americas with efficient polymer distribution and logistics. The acquisition aligns strategically with Tricon's focus on growth and customer service. Polymat has more than 35 years of serving customers across Mexico with a diverse product portfolio, three terminal shipment centers (_Centros Embarcadores Autorizados_, or CEAs), and more than five warehouses across the region. This acquisition not only opens new doors for Tricon but also creates exciting opportunities for synergy and further solidifies Tricon’s position in the polymer distribution market.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for PVC resin in Mexico, aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and target new business opportunities and develop and qualify leads.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring profitability and adherence to company terms.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
- Travel throughout Mexico to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Manage and coach a team of sales representatives (if applicable).
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and forecasts.
**Qualifications/Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, polymer science, business administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the plastics industry or a related environment.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the Mexican plastics market and business culture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
- Experience managing a sales team (a plus).
- Travel flexibility.
