**Manufacturing Engineering Intern**

**_ Position Objectives: _**

Responsible for process documentation and operation starup, this position will require to meet the process control requirements and create flow with time and ergonomic studies and productivity measurement.

**_ Main responsibilities:_**
- Creates documentation for Molding and Finishing Process, such as Visual Aids, Work instructions and Procedures.
- Create Line Balancing formats for different part numbers and document the flowcharts and diagrams.
- Promote 5's on production floor with daily support.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing Tools and Systems in collaboration with Production Supervisor.
- Monitors production performance through KPI's and gives action to sustaining team.
- Participate in daily management meetings with production and sustaining team.
- Works with sustaining team on product quality issues.
- Helps prepare training material in Quality topics for all personnel.
- Evaluate and develop techniques for the improvement of quality control, reliability and safety.
- Provide monthly reports on problem areas to sustaining team.

**_Requirements:_**
- Engineering Student
- 0 - 1 year of experience on a Manufacturing Position
- English: Advanced
