Industrial Solutions empowers smarter business operations by connecting equipment, software, and services to protect, control, and optimize assets within electrical infrastructures. Across multiple energy-intensive industries, the business provides customers with end-to-end product and service solutions that help ensure the reliability and protection of their electrical infrastructure. The Technical Sales Support Specialist will provide timely technical support to ABB Sales, ABB Distributors, Specification Engineers, Contractors, and End Users

**Your responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support for electrical distribution and control products found in the BuyLog and Control Catalog.
- Provide technical support for ABB electrical distribution and control products.
- Promote ABB Sales opportunities by providing timely competitor-to-ABB product cross-reference support.
- Respond promptly to requests for installation documentation, product drawings and publications.
- Interact with Technology (R&D), Supply Chain (factory) and Product Management to provide technical and commercial solutions for customers.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related.
- Minimum of 5 years with ABB and GE and in depth knowledge of ABB and GE and competitor residential, distribution, and control products, including load centers, transformers, modular metering, industrial breakers, panel boards, motor control, pushbuttons, safety switches, drives, Automatic Transfer Switches and programming MODBUS.
- Electrical distribution experience.
- Engineering background.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills and strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and sense of urgency in dealing with case backlog (desirable).
