Designerds partners with talented independent designers to provide expert support for our clients' in-house teams. Our streamlined onboarding process ensures a quick start for successful project integration.
This role is offered on a **contract basis** for project-specific engagements.

**About the Opportunity**

As a Senior Visual Designer, you'll be working on a variety of design tasks, including production design, digital design (including web and UI/UX), corporate identity, marketing/advertising, and product design as we serve clients in a myriad of diverse industries. Print and packaging experience is a plus. You should have strong graphic design and layout skills, with an understanding of industry-standard communication design principles.

You're an expert observer — always noticing the details in life, learning about the world around you, and using the art of noticing to solve problems.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Develop effective, on-brand, and on-strategy creative including (but not limited to): concepts, sketches, storyboards, wireframes, final digital assets (i.e. landing pages, banners, graphics, packaging renders, resized assets, social media graphics, banner ads, illustrations, simple animations/gifs), etc., delighting our clients by delivering consistently high-quality design.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and relevant Designerds team members to fulfill client needs and deliver exceptional design.
- Work autonomously and as part of a project team to complete daily design requests.
- Create detailed documentation of client design specifications.
- Be comfortable with evolving project requirements and shifting priorities.
- Proactive in keeping current with design trends and technologies to ensure high-quality deliverables.

**Required Experience & Skills**
- **4+ years of experience** as a visual designer in a Creative Agency, In-House Design Team, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Art, Graphic Design, or related field.
- **Proficiency in standard design tools**: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Google Suite, Keynote and PPT.
- Proficiency in basic video editing and animation using After Effects.
- Ability to clearly present design ideas, concepts, and projects, as well as take design instruction and criticism.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines independently.
- A strong understanding of social media and other digital social platforms.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak/hear clearly in video conference (Zoom/Google Meet).
- **A design portfolio is REQUIRED for consideration.**

**Project Scope & Compensation**
- **Engagement Type**: Project-based contract. Specific project durations will be communicated per engagement.
