**SAP Payroll Configuration Consultant (SAP EC Payroll / SAP HCM Payroll)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Configure and deliver SAP Payroll solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Support payroll processes, including gross-to-net calculations, tax reporting, third-party remittances, garnishments, and year-end activities.
- Troubleshoot payroll issues and execute parallel payroll testing with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide technical expertise for integration with SAP FI, Compensation, Time Management, Benefits, and third-party systems.
- Develop and implement custom operations, rules, and user exits as needed.
- Maintain payroll catalogs, including wage type configurations, off-cycle payroll processing, and levy management.
- Ensure accurate system setup for garnishment processing and reporting.
- Proactively solve problems, recommending and implementing efficient solutions in a high-performance culture.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Required:_
- Minimum 5 years of experience in configuring SAP Payroll solutions (EC Payroll or HCM Payroll).
- Strong expertise in US Payroll, with deep knowledge of tax management.
- Experience in:

- Payroll catalog setup (e.g., collective bargaining agreements, wage type definition).
- Off-cycle payroll processing and levy management.
- Garnishment management and reporting.
- Tax reporter configuration and integration with BSI Tax Factory.
- Custom operations, rules, and user exits.
- Proven track record of completing 4+ full life cycle implementations in SAP Payroll.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with strong client engagement capabilities.
- Ability to work on multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Preferred:_
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Payroll Control Center (PCC), and automation tools.
- Familiarity with process optimization strategies.
- Minimum 2 years of experience executing parallel payroll testing.
