Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Trade Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Campus

Reporting to the Import/Export Manager the Trade Analyst role involvesResponsible for conducting certification and determination of origin analysis for all treaties that Mexico is part of and for ensuring that industry best practices are implemented in conjunction with Flex's established procedures.

What a typical day looks like:

- Certification and Origin Determination Analysis for the treaties that Mexico is part of.
- Import/export laws, regulations, policies and procedures basic comprehension.
- Participation in projects that drive regional strategies and initiatives to deliver global trade cost-saving initiatives.
- Management of Audit / Evaluation results.
- Use IT solutions to support business compliance programs.
- Classification process analysis

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Bachelor's degree completed (International Business, Trade or related)
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in similar position
- Advanced English.
- Trading and free trade agreements experience or knowledge.
- IMMEX Knowledge.
- Customs Laws.
- HTS Classification process knowledge
- ERP knowledge (Preferably BaaN).
- Follow up with suppliers
