Job summary:
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Inventory Control Analyst _located in _Aguascalientes Campus_._
- Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, Inventory Control Analyst role involves_ _Working on daily inventory activities including cycle counting, data collection, implementing and reviewing processes to maintain inventory security and integrity to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum value to the company. Researches and disposes of excess inventory and makes recommendations for reducing and controlling inventory._
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Identifies root cause integrity discrepancies in the warehouse/stores_
- _ Retrieves and researches information from the Manufacturing Requirements Planning system._
- _ Liaises with other departments and senior department staff to highlight errors and implement improvements as required._
- _ Assists in development of process improvements on site in relation to inventory related process steps and hold up for implementation._
- _ Oversees and performs regular internal audits and external audit preparation in accordance to company’s best practices and external required standards._
- _ Produces statistical management information and key performance indicators measuring inventory performance and service levels provided to each customer._
- _ Monitors procedural compliance; holds up implementation of new procedures in conjunction with management and operations._
- _ Liaises with internal and external customers and deals with requests and issues._
- _ Researches excess inventory by customer and makes recommendations for reducing excess and obsolete material including coordination of movement of excess material back to the customer_
- _ Negotiates sales price and coordinates the sale of excess material._
- _ Provides escalation point to inventory management in relation to unresolved issues._
- _ Maintains metrics acknowledge to site or corporate requirements and produces reports as needed._
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- _ BA/BS/MBA or equivalent._
- _ Experience or experience with advanced experience using MRP systems or related field._
- _ Advance English_
- _ Good office skills: data entry, office software to include, word, spreadsheets, presentation package and database systems._
- _ Ability to read, research and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures or governmental regulations._
- _ Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and acknowledge to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public._
- _ Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs._
- _ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists._
- _ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form._
