**Objectives**

The design engineer is responsible for design, test and review new products that satisfy or exceed the customer's requirements, and support the production of the new product models. Design accessories that will improve the manufacturing process. Will keep existing drawings updated or create new ones when necessary. Also work with the team to make sure the product is manufactured correctly and make improvements if necessary.

**Responsibilities**
- Create a list of materials and analyze ECN.
- Develop improvements in the design processes.
- High problem solving skills.
- Develop Poka Yoke, standard work and Kaizen.
- Program CNC machines (Stamping machines, Water Jet, Routers)
- Lead engineering team and different departments meetings.

**Profile**
- 2 years of experience in similar position.
- Advanced level of English
- Experience in Sheet Metal
- Knowledge on interpretation of BOM
- Bachelor's degree in Mecatronics, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Required skills: Solid Works (Advanced), AutoCAD, Office Package (Advanced), ERP, Project Management, Lean Manufacturing.
- Attention to details, multiple tasking, problem solving, time management, motivation, productivity, verbal communication and general mathematical skills.
- Availability to work the hours necessary to perform the work, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal department pressure.
