Partner Service Manager

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

**About the** Organization**:
Partner Service Management (PSM) is a Global function that is part of the larger Partner Operations organization. We engage with Channel Partners (over 400 Distributors and over 9.6k Resellers globally) on topics related to the Payments they receive from HPE as part of different programs & processes. The areas we cover are Channel Data Management (collecting Sell-Out / Inventory data from our Distributors), Channel Sales Incentives (Partner Compensation), Financial Claims (Rebates) and Market Development Funds. In doing so, our Partner Service Managers across AMS, EMEA and APJ make sure to explain every dollar paid, to every Partner, every single time they have a need or a question.We interface between Channel & Contra Revenue Operations, Finance, Process SMEs, other functions, and our Channel Partners, providing one single voice to them in relation to the processes listed above, hiding internal complexity, and brokering with various internal functions for smooth payment & issue resolution.

**How you'll make your mark**:

- Represents HPE in front of Channel Partners (Distributors & Resellers) on topics related to claims & payments, along the following processes: Financial Claims, Partner Compensation and Market Development Funds.
- Manages financial Disputes, acting as a a liaison with other teams within HPE who need to intervene in solutioning them
- Ensures Distributors report Sell-Out and Inventory timely & accurately and addresses deviance
- Communicates data, metrics and issue analysis to stakeholders
- Manages escalations and complex cases related to the processes described above
- Coordinates cross-functionally for complex issue resolution
- Delivers training / webinars / coaching to both Channel Partners and more junior colleagues on above processes, when needed
- Acts as Change Champion inside the team and towards Channel Partner, spearheading management of change efforts when introducing new tools, programs or procedures
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

**About you**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management or equivalent
- Typically 2-4 years experience
- Experience administering and maintaining Partner Claiming tools, systems and online resources
- Strong analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with focus on summarizing
- Mastery in English
- Ability to effectively communicate backlog burn-down plans, proposals, and metrics, and negotiate options with external Partners
- Impeccable self-organizing, ease of organizing others and diligence in follow-thru
- Assertive and self-starter, ability to initiate improvements and rally resources needed to support
- Understanding of the Channel business would be a plus
