Job Summary:
Azure DevOps Engineer, will be responsible for the design and ownership of builds, deployments, and systems including source code control, issue tracking, pipeline management. Focus on efficiency, and continuous delivery and improvement. Provide communication and collaboration between software development and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with developers and establish Visual Studio or VS Code solution organization
- Serve as SME for Kubernetes deployment strategy and container cluster administration
- Plan, Execute, and Implement to Azure hosted environment
- Design Azure DevOps Pipelines with CI/CD capabilities
- Support production deployments, assist with troubleshooting deployment issues
- Assist with branching/merging for release management and in support of parallel development requirements
- Serve as the SME for software development life-cycle tools - tools support testing, monitoring, integration/release and scheduling areas
- Establish patterns and best practices on usage and monitor usage and track license availability/utilization
- Monitors usage and changes configurations to improve capacity or performance of servers
- Participate in system performance tuning and technical troubleshooting sessions

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

- Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
- 1+ years of Application Development experience
- 5+ years of distributed build/deploy experience
- 2+ years of Kubernetes and containers
- Azure DevOps Services and source management
- Strong working knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing and implementation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Performs work under mínimal supervision
- Handle complex issues and problems
- May provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
- Ability to work with and understand business client requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
- Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, adhere to project deadlines and procedures, multi-task and be detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:
Functional Skills
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, IIS, PowerShell, and YAML
- Strong knowledge of Wintel server technologies (ex. IIS configurations, monitoring agents) and network- configurations (ex. DNS, proxy, firewall rule exceptions)
- Strong knowledge of configuration software(Ansible)
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes environment tools(Rancher, Fleet, Ingress, Harbor)
- Strong knowledge of package management utilities (Chocolatey, NuGet, npm, yarn)
- Experience with virtual machine provisioning (VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix)
- VMware ESXi, Citrix XenApp and SQL Database familiarity considered a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages
- Azure, and O365 experience considered a strong plus
- Strong understanding of Change Control procedures, High Availability, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery concepts as they relate to Distributed Systems architectures
