As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will manage builds, deployments, and systems within Azure DevOps, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, release engineering, and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with external teams, ensure smooth production deployments, and automate processes with developers' code.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure DevOps pipelines with CI/CD capabilities.
- Build releases, enable deployments, and automate the deployment process with developers’ code.
- Troubleshoot production deployment issues and ensure deployments are successful.
- Use tools like Flyway for database version control and changes.
- Collaborate with external teams through frequent phone calls, asking questions to ensure readiness for production and verifying code integrity.
- Manage server tasks on both Windows and Linux environments (e.g., stopping/starting pools, services).
- Ensure smooth integration of code, troubleshoot server issues, and support production releases.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in distributed build/deploy environments with a focus on Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of.NET, C#, and release engineering processes.
- Experience with Azure services, Flyway, and basic database version control.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux server management and troubleshooting.
- English conversational skills with the ability to engage fully with external teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to ask the right questions and ensure code is production-ready.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and other teams.
