**Role Description**

We are looking for a responsible, analytical, startup-minded professional who will serve as the **company’s formal accounting lead**, while also actively contributing to business strategy, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

This role is not limited to accounting only; we are looking for someone willing to get involved, bring ideas to the table, and support multiple areas as the business evolves.

**Responsibilities**

**-Accounting & Finance**
- Record and reconcile monthly accounting transactions.
- Prepare financial reports (cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement).
- Develop **financial valuations** and **financial projections (forecasts)**.
- Manage invoicing, payments, and accounts receivable follow-up.
- Oversee employee-related accounting and administrative processes, including: Payroll administration and control, accounting entries for salaries, benefits, and compensation and monitoring compliance with tax and labor obligations (IMSS, income tax/ISR, etc.)
- Coordinate with external accounting firms and payroll-related providers.
- Support tax compliance, documentation, and financial administrative processes.

- Implement and use technology tools to increase efficiency.
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify improvement opportunities and cost optimization initiatives.
- Participate in strategic meetings and contribute financial insights.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree completed in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting and payroll processes.
- Proficiency with technology tools (Google Sheets, Excel, Notion, Trello, or similar).
- Experience working with accounting firms and/or payroll providers (preferred).
- **Intermediate or advanced English.**:
