Resumen

Lead the packaging planning, design, development, and optimization for all of Mubea’s North American business. This position will require close collaboration with material suppliers, customers, packaging suppliers, logistics service providers, internal sales and engineering teams, and manufacturing teams to assure standardization, on time availability, and agreement on packaging.

Tareas y responsabilidades
- Act as central point of contact and knowledge for all packaging topics in North America (US and Mexico locations).
- Develop, implement, and oversee NA packaging and internal logistics best practices and lean systems.
- Lead design and development of packaging for new and existing products requiring new packaging.
- Tracking of packaging planning which is carried out by suppliers for purchased parts to assure Mubea standards are followed, packaging data sheets are signed, and packaging is suitable for intended use.
- Support overall supply chain cost reductions in the areas of packaging investment, expendable expense, transportation, and handling costs through packaging design without sacrificing part quality or personnel safety.

Estudios / Formación
- Bachelor´s Degree as an Industrial Engineer, or related field
- More than 4 years of experience working as a packaging engineer.
- SAP system knowledge
- Advanced English
- Availability to travel
