As a **Security Officer - Convenience Store** in **Santa Fe, NM**, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to create a secure environment for customers and staff. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing top-notch customer service. You will build positive relationships with those you interact with and communicate professionally at all times. **What You'll Do**:

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- New Mexico Level 2 Security License required.
- Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
